Africanas is a social entrepreneurial project with the aim of creating a bridge between Africa and the Western world by selling handmade shoes, created by our artisans in South Africa.
Our team of shoemakers has been living this new adventure with a lot of enthusiasm and excitement, they are proud to export the African culture and their incredible know-how to the rest of the world. We work hard to emphasise the possibilities and maximise the capabilities of the local artisans, light-years away from the dynamics of mass production to which we are accustomed in our society.

Our intimate wish is to offer products to people that want to make a difference by starting to be different. Africa's sun, the enormous richness of shades and patterns, the vibrant soul of Africa's nature & wildlife are the ingredients that inspire each and every product that leaves our workshop.
The skilled hands of our shoemakers complete each pair of our shoes with souls, they make sure that our mission to deliver a piece of real Africa to all of our customers, is being accomplished. It is with great pride that we can offer a product that not only is unmistakable and unique in its category but also is fair in its productive roots and of outstanding manufacturer quality.
The smart, the casual and the full flavoured ones,
